美瑛高校日々の出来事

　令和８年５月16日(土)午前中、美瑛町清掃活動（缶トリー作戦）に美瑛高校生徒17名、職員4名が参加しました。美瑛町長の挨拶のあと、いろいろな職場や団体の人達がそれぞれの担当区域の清掃に出発しました。清掃範囲は美瑛の丘と美瑛町役場から美瑛駅周辺まででした。美瑛高校の生徒達は役場から駅周辺の担当でした。町内の車道歩道は普段からきれいにされていますが、歩道の隅や隙間に風で飛ばされた小さなゴミなどがありました。

これから観光客が増えてきますので、観光客には気持ちよく観光してほしいと思います。

On the morning of Saturday, May 16, 2026, 17 students and 4 staff members from Biei High School participated in the Biei Cleaning Campaign (known as "Kantori Sakusen" or the can-collecting event). Following a speech by Mayor Kakuwa of Biei, workers from various companies and local residents headed to their designated areas to begin cleaning. The cleaning areas covered the Hills of Biei, as well as the section from the town hall to Biei Station. The Biei High School students and staff focused on the area around the town hall and Biei Station. While the streets and pavements generally looked clean, there were some small pieces of litter blown by the wind along the roadsides. With the number of tourists visiting Biei on the rise, we hope this cleanup helps them enjoy their stay in our beautiful town. (Photos by the Photography Club)

　令和８年５月１５日（金）、1年生教室で英語指導助手ALTの授業がありました。ALTが自己紹介して場を和やかにしたあと、生徒達は自己紹介と日本について紹介しました。彼らは緊張しながらも、楽しそうに発表していました。

During the third period on Friday, May 15, 2026, the ALT came to the first-year English class. After the ALT gave a self-introduction, the atmosphere became relaxed. The students also introduced themselves and talked about Japan. They performed nervously but joyfully.

　令和８年５月14日(木)放課後、美瑛高校総合運動部は1年生の新入部員6名を加えて、グラウンドでサッカーをしました。春の日差しが心地よい中、総勢13名プラス顧問で元気にプレーしていました。先日は野球の練習もしていました。外での活動が多くなります。グラウンドでの生徒の元気な声が聞こえる季節になりました。

　After school on Thursday, May 14, 2026, the Biei High School Multi-Sports Club played soccer on the school grounds with six new members. In the comfortable spring sunshine, 13 students and their club teacher played soccer energetically. The other day, they played baseball. Their activities are becoming more and more outdoor-focused. 　令和８年５月１１日(月)６校時、生徒総会が行われました。生徒会予算の提案、2つの同好会、「総合運動同好会」、「ドローンサッカー同好会」が部活動に昇格することが提案されました。また、各委員会から年間計画の報告があり全て承認されました。

　During the sixth period on Monday, May 11th, 2026, Biei High School held its Student Council General Meeting. The council proposed and approved the annual budget, along with the promotion of two clubs—the "Multi-Sports Club" and the "Drone Soccer Club"—to varsity status. Additionally, all annual plans reported by the committees were officially approved.

　令和８年4月19日(日)午前、美瑛高校写真部は1年生の新入部員２名を加えた撮影会を開催しました。高校からほど近い汽車が通る橋まで行き、流し撮りの練習をしました。汽車の動きに合わせぶれないように気をつけながら撮影しまし た。道ばたではクロッカスやカタクリが土から力強く芽を出していました。

　On the morning on Sunday, April 19, 2026, the Biei High School Photo Club went to take pictures around Biei High School with two new members. They went to a bridge near the school where trains pass by. They practiced panning shots of trains, carefully keeping the subject in focus. By the road, crocuses and dogtooth violets were growing strongly from the ground.

　フードデザインの授業で萌育実生産組合見学に行きました。美瑛町で唯一のキノコ（シイタケ）の生産、販売をしており今回は収穫体験や袋に詰める工程を体験させていただきました。

　フードデザインの授業では、美瑛町にある様々な生産現場にこれからもお邪魔したいと考えております。

　令和８年4月15日(水)昼休み、自転車通学希望生徒向けの説明会が実施されました。道路交通法が改正され，自転車乗車ルールも変更になりました。ルールの確認をして安全に通学してほしいと思います。

　A bicycle safety meeting for students was held during the lunch break on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Traffic rules were updated this year, including those for bicycles. By reviewing these rules, students will learn to ride more safely.

　令和８年4月14日(火)５校時、２学年の選択科目環境空撮が始まりました。今年から開設された新しい科目です。この科目はドローンの飛行に関する知識・技術・操作・撮影・制御などを学びます。卒業後、いろいろな場面でこの技術を生かせることを期待します。

　In the fifth period on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the Environmental Aerial Imaging class has started. This course has commenced in this term. Students will acquire knowledge and skills regarding drone operation, control, and related technologies. After graduation, they will apply these skills in a variety of situations.

　令和８年4月13日(月)4校時、3学年のキャリアガイダンスが実施されました。進路指導部長より進路活動への心構えなどの説明のあと、具体的な取り組み計画の記入について指示があり、生徒たちは自分たちの進路実現の準備のために真剣に取り組んでいました。

　In the fourth period on Monday, April 13, 2026, the third-year students attended a career guidance session. After the Head of Career Guidance explained the upcoming career activities, the students created their detailed action plans.

　令和８年4月10日(金)全学年で今年度用の新しい身分証用の写真撮影が行われました。新入生は初めて身分証が配布され美瑛高校生としての実感が沸くことでしょう。

　In the fifth period on Friday, April 10, 2026, taking pictures for student ID cards took place. Freshers will be able to get their Biei High School ID cards for the first time. They will feel like Biei High School students once they receive their ID cards.
