美瑛高校日々の出来事

　2026年７月４日～５日、北海道美瑛高等学校の学校祭が開かれました。１日目は生徒会によるステージ企画などと山車のパレード、美瑛町役場でのパフォーマンス披露でした。２日目は一般公開で、１年生はかき氷、２年生は焼きそば、３年生は「お化け屋敷」の展示、保護者の方は焼き鳥、綿あめなどの販売を行いました。楽しんでいただけたでしょうか。来年も頑張ります。ご来場ありがとうございました。

The Biei High School Festival was held at Hokkaido Biei High School from July 4th to 5th, 2026. On the first day, the student council hosted stage events, a festival float parade, and performances at the Biei Town Hall. The second day was the Public Day. The first-year students sold shaved ice, the second-years sold yakisoba, and the third-years put on a haunted house. Parents also joined in, selling yakitori, cotton candy, and other treats. 「美瑛手づくりフェア２０２６」に参加！We Joined “Biei Handmade Fair 2026”!

 　2026年6月23日～28日に美瑛町にあるビ・エールで「びえい手づくりフェア２０２６」が開催されました。ハンドメイドショップ「ラコリーヌ」様主催で行われているフェアです。手づくり作家の方が作った作品が販売されています。写真部は写真の展示とポストカードの販売､写真印刷のワークショップを行いました。当日の売り上げは「美瑛町社会福祉協議会」様に寄付させていただきます。期間中、多くの方に声をかけていただき、大変勉強になりました。ありがとうございました。

  From June 23rd to 28th, 2026, "Biei Handmade Fair 2026"was held at “bi.yell” in Biei Town. This fair was hosted by the handmade shop "La Colline." Many handmade creators sold their works there.

Our photography club displayed photos, sold postcards, and held a photo printing workshop. We will donate all the sales from this event to the "Biei Social Welfare Council."

  During the event, many people talked to us, and we learned a lot. Thank you so much!

　令和８年６月14日(日)、丘のまちびえいヘルシーマラソン2026が実施されました。毎年行われているこのマラソンは全国各地から参加者が来て今年は約3，800人でした。種目はハーフ、クオーター、ワンエイツの3種でした。選手達は記録を目指したり、楽しんだりして参加していました。美瑛高校生は、荷物係、給水係、ゴール係などで選手を応援しました。

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, the Hill Town Biei Healthy Marathon 2026 was held in Biei, Hokkaido. This annual event brings together runners from all over Japan and around the world. About 3,800 runners came to Biei to participate. They ran the half-marathon, quarter-marathon, or one-eighth-marathon courses, with some aiming for personal bests while others simply enjoyed the run. Local Biei High School students supported the event, cheering on the runners while working at baggage claims, water stations, and the finish line.

　令和８年６月11日（木）6校時、令和８年度防災避難訓練が大雪消防組合美瑛消防団指導の下行われました。今回は火災発生を想定して、煙に注意しながら避難しました。その後、救助袋による避難をしました。担当者から、説明を受け、生徒達数名が一人ずつらせん状になった救助袋に入り避難しました。途中で詰まりながらも無事に下までたどり着きました。この訓練を通じて、火災が発生したときにどのように行動すべきかを学びました。大雪消防組合美瑛消防団の皆様ありがとうございました。

 During the sixth period on Thursday, June 11, 2026, the evacuation drill was held at Hokkaido Biei High School with the cooperation of Taisetsu Shoubou Kumiai Biei Shouboudan. We ran a fire drill today and practiced evacuating safely through the smoke. We practiced using the evacuation chute during the fire drill. After receiving instructions from the person in charge, some of the students entered the spiral evacuation chute one by one. Although some of us got a bit stuck along the way, everyone made it down safely. Through this drill, we learned how to act if a fire breaks out. Thank you to everyone at the Taisetsu Shoubou Kumiai Biei Shouboudan.

　令和８年６月４日（木）、1年生教室で英語指導助手ALTの授業がありました。今回は進行形の練習でした。５人のグループを3つ作り、２人が前に出てきて、２分以内に５問、身振りで何をしているかを自分のグループの生徒に英語で言わせる活動です。走っているまねをして「He is running.」、２人で飛んでいるまねをして「They are flying.」と言わせれば正解です。校長、教頭、他教科の先生も１グループ作り参加しました。緊張しながらも楽しんでいました。

　During the third period on Thursday, June 4, 2026, the ALT came to the first-year English class again. The students learned about the “progressive tense.” The class was divided into three groups of five members each. Then, two members from each group came to the front. They did gestures and the others guessed what they were doing. For example, when one student gestured like they were running, the others said, “He is running.” Or, when two students gestured like they were flying, the others said, “They are flying.” These were the right answers. The principal, the vice-principal, and some other teachers formed a group to join the class. They were a little nervous, but enjoyed it.

　６月１０日（水）にも来校しました。今回は個人の活動です。1つ目の活動は、A、B２枚の絵を見て違いを進行形を使って表現する活動です。例えば、”He is wearing glasses in A, but he is not wearing glasses in B.”です。もう一つは進行形の英語を聞いて、その状況を絵で表す活動をしました。例えば、“A man is running in A, but he is smiling in B.”です。生徒は自分の描いた絵を見て笑っていました。

　During the third period on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the ALT came to the first-year English class again. This time, they did individual activities. In the first activity, students looked at two cards, A and B, and spotted the differences. For example, one student said, “He is wearing glasses in A, but he is not wearing glasses in B.” In the next activity, after students listened to sentences in the progressive tense, they drew pictures on a sheet. For example, “He is running in A, but he is smiling in B.” When the students looked at their own pictures, they laughed.

　令和８年５月16日(土)午前中、美瑛町清掃活動（缶トリー作戦）に美瑛高校生徒17名、職員4名が参加しました。美瑛町長の挨拶のあと、いろいろな職場や団体の人達がそれぞれの担当区域の清掃に出発しました。清掃範囲は美瑛の丘と美瑛町役場から美瑛駅周辺まででした。美瑛高校の生徒達は役場から駅周辺の担当でした。町内の車道歩道は普段からきれいにされていますが、歩道の隅や隙間に風で飛ばされた小さなゴミなどがありました。

これから観光客が増えてきますので、観光客には気持ちよく観光してほしいと思います。

On the morning of Saturday, May 16, 2026, 17 students and 4 staff members from Biei High School participated in the Biei Cleaning Campaign (known as "Kantori Sakusen" or the can-collecting event). Following a speech by Mayor Kakuwa of Biei, workers from various companies and local residents headed to their designated areas to begin cleaning. The cleaning areas covered the Hills of Biei, as well as the section from the town hall to Biei Station. The Biei High School students and staff focused on the area around the town hall and Biei Station. While the streets and pavements generally looked clean, there were some small pieces of litter blown by the wind along the roadsides. With the number of tourists visiting Biei on the rise, we hope this cleanup helps them enjoy their stay in our beautiful town. (Photos by the Photography Club)

　令和８年５月１５日（金）、1年生教室で英語指導助手ALTの授業がありました。ALTが自己紹介して場を和やかにしたあと、生徒達は自己紹介と日本について紹介しました。彼らは緊張しながらも、楽しそうに発表していました。

During the third period on Friday, May 15, 2026, the ALT came to the first-year English class. After the ALT gave a self-introduction, the atmosphere became relaxed. The students also introduced themselves and talked about Japan. They performed nervously but joyfully.

　令和８年５月14日(木)放課後、美瑛高校総合運動部は1年生の新入部員6名を加えて、グラウンドでサッカーをしました。春の日差しが心地よい中、総勢13名プラス顧問で元気にプレーしていました。先日は野球の練習もしていました。外での活動が多くなります。グラウンドでの生徒の元気な声が聞こえる季節になりました。

　After school on Thursday, May 14, 2026, the Biei High School Multi-Sports Club played soccer on the school grounds with six new members. In the comfortable spring sunshine, 13 students and their club teacher played soccer energetically. The other day, they played baseball. Their activities are becoming more and more outdoor-focused. 　令和８年５月１１日(月)６校時、生徒総会が行われました。生徒会予算の提案、2つの同好会、「総合運動同好会」、「ドローンサッカー同好会」が部活動に昇格することが提案されました。また、各委員会から年間計画の報告があり全て承認されました。

　During the sixth period on Monday, May 11th, 2026, Biei High School held its Student Council General Meeting. The council proposed and approved the annual budget, along with the promotion of two clubs—the "Multi-Sports Club" and the "Drone Soccer Club"—to varsity status. Additionally, all annual plans reported by the committees were officially approved.

　令和８年4月19日(日)午前、美瑛高校写真部は1年生の新入部員２名を加えた撮影会を開催しました。高校からほど近い汽車が通る橋まで行き、流し撮りの練習をしました。汽車の動きに合わせぶれないように気をつけながら撮影しまし た。道ばたではクロッカスやカタクリが土から力強く芽を出していました。

　On the morning on Sunday, April 19, 2026, the Biei High School Photo Club went to take pictures around Biei High School with two new members. They went to a bridge near the school where trains pass by. They practiced panning shots of trains, carefully keeping the subject in focus. By the road, crocuses and dogtooth violets were growing strongly from the ground.

　フードデザインの授業で萌育実生産組合見学に行きました。美瑛町で唯一のキノコ（シイタケ）の生産、販売をしており今回は収穫体験や袋に詰める工程を体験させていただきました。

　フードデザインの授業では、美瑛町にある様々な生産現場にこれからもお邪魔したいと考えております。

　令和８年4月15日(水)昼休み、自転車通学希望生徒向けの説明会が実施されました。道路交通法が改正され，自転車乗車ルールも変更になりました。ルールの確認をして安全に通学してほしいと思います。

　A bicycle safety meeting for students was held during the lunch break on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Traffic rules were updated this year, including those for bicycles. By reviewing these rules, students will learn to ride more safely.

　令和８年4月14日(火)５校時、２学年の選択科目環境空撮が始まりました。今年から開設された新しい科目です。この科目はドローンの飛行に関する知識・技術・操作・撮影・制御などを学びます。卒業後、いろいろな場面でこの技術を生かせることを期待します。

　In the fifth period on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the Environmental Aerial Imaging class has started. This course has commenced in this term. Students will acquire knowledge and skills regarding drone operation, control, and related technologies. After graduation, they will apply these skills in a variety of situations.

　令和８年4月13日(月)4校時、3学年のキャリアガイダンスが実施されました。進路指導部長より進路活動への心構えなどの説明のあと、具体的な取り組み計画の記入について指示があり、生徒たちは自分たちの進路実現の準備のために真剣に取り組んでいました。

　In the fourth period on Monday, April 13, 2026, the third-year students attended a career guidance session. After the Head of Career Guidance explained the upcoming career activities, the students created their detailed action plans.

　令和８年4月10日(金)全学年で今年度用の新しい身分証用の写真撮影が行われました。新入生は初めて身分証が配布され美瑛高校生としての実感が沸くことでしょう。

　In the fifth period on Friday, April 10, 2026, taking pictures for student ID cards took place. Freshers will be able to get their Biei High School ID cards for the first time. They will feel like Biei High School students once they receive their ID cards.

　令和８年4月９日(木)6時間目、対面式が行われました。新入生と在校生が顔を合わせ在校生が学校紹介をする会で、生徒会の生徒たちが準備をしてきました。生徒会がスライドで学校行事の紹介をしたあと、各部活動の紹介がありました。動画を見せたり実演したり、色々工夫して紹介し、部員募集をしました。生徒会執行部は校歌を歌うミュージカルを披露し、笑いを誘っていました。充実した高校生活を送ってほしいと思います。

　In the sixth period on Thursday, April 9, 2026, we had a welcome ceremony. It was a ceremony for the freshers to meet the current students. It was prepared by the student council members. The student council members introduced the school events to the freshers with slides. After that, each club introduced its own activities through videos, performances, and other various methods. The student council members performed a musical featuring a school song like a comedy and the freshers laughed. We hope they will enjoy their new school lives.

　令和８年4月8日(水)午後、入学式が行われました。１４名の新入生が入学を許可されたあと、角和美瑛町長よりご祝辞をいただき、新入生代表が誓いのことばを述べました。明日から通常の高校生活が始まります。元気に登校して、有意義な3年間にしましょう。

　On the afternoon of Tuesday, April 8, 2026, we had an entrance ceremony. Fourteen new students joined Biei High School. Mayor Kakuwa of Biei gave a speech at the ceremony. After that, one of the new students made a speech. Regular school life starts tomorrow. We hope they will come to school in high spirits and enjoy their school life!

　着任式のあと令和８年度始業式が行われ、校長から在校生に向けて講話がありました。その後、教頭より各学年団の 紹介がありました。

新年度の始まりです、心新たに取り組みましょう。

　After the welcoming ceremony for the new teachers, we had an opening ceremony for the new term. Mr. Arai gave a speech to the students. After that, the vice principal introduced the staff members of each grade.

　令和８年4月8日(火)午前中に着任式が行われました。昨年度３名の職員が離任され、今年度、２名の職員が着任され、一人ずつ挨拶をしました。これからよろしくお願いいたします。

　４月４日(土)春休み中の午前、写真部が動き始めました。３年生が卒業し、部員が減りました。この日は曇りで風が吹いていましたが、１０度くらいあり、歩いていると暑く感じました。田んぼのそばの木には、繭のようなものがあり、ネットで調べたところ蛾のサナギのようでした。田んぼには白鳥が２羽、羽を休めていました。道ばたには風で飛ばされたゴミが落ちていました。観光シーズンが近づいてきて、清掃活動も始まります。今後も写真部は身近な被写体を撮影し発信していきます。

The Biei High School Photo Club launched for the new term on April 4th. After the third-year students graduated, only one student remained. It was cloudy and windy that day, with a temperature of 10°C, but we felt hot while walking. There were many cocoons on the trees near the rice paddies. We looked up the cocoons on the internet and found that they were moth pupae. There were two swans in the rice paddy, and they were resting there. There was litter blown to the side of the road. As the tourist season is starting recently, cleaning activities will begin soon. The Biei High School Photo Club is going to focus on nearby subjects.
